Abel Gallardo will join us at the 2018 Monarch Gala and provide live entertainment throughout the evening.
Abel Gallardo, was born on July 8, 1983 in Mountainview, CA., although he lived part of his childhood in Guatemala- where is parents are from. For Abel, music has been a part of his life since the crib. It has always been a part of his family and one of his greatest influences was his mother who was also successful in the realm of music in her community. When he was 15 years old, he came back to the US to start his music career focusing on composition with the long-term goal of gaining recognition of singers who would want to play the music he wrote. He later played for more than ten years in the Spanish-language rock band “Yerba Mora” in Chicago, a group which played locally and internationally. As an artist, Abel’s goal is to gain more recognition in Spanish-speaking countries and the US. He has immediate plan of touring the US, Central, and South America. His final objective is always to carry a message from his heart to encourage the public to love, live in peace, and enjoy music. Abel also graduated from Rush Medical School with his MD.
