About Us

Founded in 2000, Mano a Mano Family Resource Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose vision is an integrated Lake County where everyone has access to opportunity and a path to success. Our mission is to empower immigrants and their families living in Lake County, Illinois to become full participants in American life. Mano a Mano pursues this mission and vision by providing education to promote four goals: Healthy families, Productive parents, Engaged Citizens, and Successful Children.
